The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem a little rougher.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.
It's heavier than other strollers we tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all kinds of terrain, and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.
Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.
It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of food items.
